Here's how to recognize the real Bobby backpack

XD-Design Bobby Bizz Backpack and Briefcase Black was first introduced in 2016 through the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter

Since then, XD Design's Bobby has become a great hit!

Being a well-known brand with a main item has the disadvantage of being imitated by others.

Furthermore, we'd like to alert you about the following red flags.

If you want to buy a Bobby online, make sure you transmit both the model name and the brand name correctly.

Red flag 1:Name

XD Design's anti-theft backpacks are named after renowned British police officers.

As a result, there are no brothers or sisters called Anthony, Smarty, Bibbi, Sisi, or even Bonny on the market.

2nd red flag: USB port

The original XD-Design Bobby Bizz Backpack and Briefcase Black's USB port is hidden between your hip and the bag, and hence not visible while wearing it.

The USB port on the fake-bag Bobby's is positioned on the outside of the bag.

Red flag 3: Colors

The colors for the Bobby's were chosen by XD Design based on current color trends.

As a result, the bags are only available in a limited number of hues.

The Bobby Bizz comes in only one color: black

Primrose yellow, diving blue, coralette, pastel blue, and mint green are among the five vivid hues available for the Bobby Compact.

The Bobby Original comes in three different colors: black, grey, and red.

The Bobby Original is also available in two limited editions: a DJ Tisto edition and a midnight blue variant.

Red flag 4:Quality

Whereas the Bobby backpack is firm and holds its form, the copies of the Bobby backpack are of very poor quality.

The bags look and feel saggy thus won’t hold their form and are neither anti-theft nor cut-proof.
