Axial-Tech Upgrades

TUF Gaming cards use our tried-and-true Axial-tech fan design, with three fans working in tandem to meet NVIDIA's new high-octane design's thermal demands. When compared to sleeve bearings and other bearing types, the fans rely on dual ball fan bearings to ensure constant performance and greater longevity

Fans New Directions

To prevent turbulence, the two side fans rotate counterclockwise. To reduce needless noise, a stop mode turns off all fans when the GPU temperature drops below 50 degrees and power consumption is low

Maxcontact

We employ a manufacturing procedure that improves the surface smoothness of the heatspreader at the microscopic level to get heat into the heatsink array efficiently so that it can be whisked away by the powerful Axial-tech fans. The increased flatness provides for better contact with the die, which aids in thermal transfer

Heatsink 2.7-slot design

The heat spreader draws heat up into heatpipes, which transport it through a fin stack that takes up the majority of the card's 2.7-slot footprint. Tuf Components

Using our innovative Auto-Extreme automated manufacturing process, the components are soldered to the PCB. Smooth couplings on the back of the PCB and the elimination of human errors ensure that each graphics card meets our exacting standards. Finally, the cards are put through a rigorous 144-hour validation trial to ensure faultless performance when it counts.

Fresh Shroud

TUF Gaming graphics cards are well-protected by an all-aluminum shroud, and the no-nonsense industrial design and grayscale hue blend well with any build.

It’s cooler out back

The back of the card displays a slew of enhancements. The majority of the back is encased in a protective metal backplate that conspicuously showcases a large vent. Instead of being recycled back into the cooler, the vent permits hot air to escape towards the chassis exhaust fans.

A bracket beneath the GPU maintains consistent mounting pressure between the die and heat spreader.The I/O bracket is made of stainless steel to protect the ports and give a more stable installation. A conveniently located Dual Bios switch enables software-free modification of the card's default performance profile.

Functional Front

The top-side RGB element may be modified to show a variety of aesthetic and functional effects, and it can also be synced with other ASUS components to provide uniform lighting. Two 8-pin connectors are present to meet the power requirements of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, as well as onboard LEDs that light up if the PSU PCIe power connectors are not properly plugged in.
