The back of the card displays a slew of enhancements. The majority of the back is encased in a protective metal backplate that conspicuously showcases a large vent. Instead of being recycled back into the cooler, the vent permits hot air to escape towards the chassis exhaust fans.
A bracket beneath the GPU maintains consistent mounting pressure between the die and heat spreader.The I/O bracket is made of stainless steel to protect the ports and give a more stable installation. A conveniently located Dual Bios switch enables software-free modification of the card's default performance profile.
The top-side RGB element may be modified to show a variety of aesthetic and functional effects, and it can also be synced with other ASUS components to provide uniform lighting. Two 8-pin connectors are present to meet the power requirements of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, as well as onboard LEDs that light up if the PSU PCIe power connectors are not properly plugged in.
