What is surge protector?

Isobar Surge Protector is a device that is capable of absorbing excess electrical energy in the home so that your lights and appliances do not blow out when they are on.

Three isolated filter banks isolate the six NEMA 5-15R outlets in the ISOBAR6DBS to prevent equipment connected to one filter bank from interacting with equipment connected to another.

A/V distortion, computer lockups, data errors, and other problems are also prevented by these internal barriers.

With metal oxide varistors, large toroidal chokes, ferrit rod-core inductors, as well as HF / VHF capacitors, EMI / RFI interference is greatly reduced on the system, preventing crashes, reboots, and performance issues.

Additionally, cable, satellite, and phone/DSL signals can be protected with coaxial jacks and RJ11 jacks.

The Tripp Lite ISOBAR6DBS Isobar Surge Protector covers two protection modes: full normal mode (H-N) and common mode (N-G/H-G) due to the fact that residential power outlets have three wires, hot, neutral, and ground.
