ASM1062 to Deliver 10-Port SATA 6Gbps Performance.

This SATA card, which uses the ASM1062 controller, allows you to connect up to 10 high-performance SATA 6Gbps SSDs for a total throughput of up to 8Gbps. The SATA drives are connected to the card through ten individual SATA ports SATA cables sold separately.

The controller card is compatible with all major operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, macOS 10.10 and higher, and Linux 2.6.32 and above. The card also has a port multiplier, which allows you to connect many disks to a single SATA port additional hardware required, sold separately.

The card does not feature a built-in RAID controller to optimize motherboard compatibility, but it fully supports software RAID. Furthermore, this card ensures backward compatibility with prior generations SATA I/II, PCIe 1 at lesser performance by supporting PCIe 2.0 and SATA III specifications.
