Cache 2.0 to boost performance
The Western Digital PC SA530 combines our tried-and-true SSD platform with the company's cutting-edge 96-layer 3D NAND technology. It also incorporates nCache 2.0, a tiered caching technology designed to improve responsiveness for corporate and consumer workloads.
In capacities of up to 1TB, the Western Digital PC SA530 achieves this while expending less power than our previous generations of SATA SSDs.
SLC (single level cell) and TLC flash blocks are combined in Cache 2.0 to boost performance, increase endurance, and increase efficiency. Reduced write amplification on the TLC blocks results from writing data first to the SLC cache.
Western Digital SanDisk PC SA530 256 GB SSD SDASB8Y-256G offers total end-to-end encryption for the storage, system, and infrastructure thanks to on-the-fly hardware-based encryption. Password security, AES-256-bit encryption, the TCG-OPAL 2.01 standard, and PSID are all supported.
Lower Power, Higher Capacity and Thin Form Factors Offers Design Flexibility
The Western Digital PC SA530 is designed to meet the strict power management specifications of products with compact and ultra-thin form factors. Device Sleep, more frequent usage of low-power modes, and quicker switching between different power modes are some of its benefits.
DataGuard Client offers a powerful on-the-fly error management solution that is also included for enhanced error recovery. The Western Digital PC SA530 has capacities of 256 gigabytes (GB), 512 GB, and 1 terabyte and is offered with a range of design and integration choices for manufacturers and systems builders in either a SATA 2.5"/7mm cased or an M.2 2280 form factor (TB).
