Netonix WS-8-150-DC network switch Managed Gigabit Ethernet is designed to connect directly to a battery bank rather than a power source

Use an inline fuse or breaker whenever possible.

150 Watt SMART DC

The WS-12-DC unit should be used with a 48V-54V power source

The 150 Watt SMART DC power supply receives a 9V to 72V DC variable input and provides continuous 24V and 48V POE power.

Monitor the DC voltage and current coming from your batteries into the switch

With auto and customizable thermal shutdown, Netonix WS-8-150-DC network switch Managed Gigabit Ethernet monitors the temperature of the DC power supply.

When the switch detects that charging from solar or wind has restarted, it will shut off lower priority POE ports and restore them when adequate reserves are restored

Save Energy

If power levels drop too low, the system can be set to turn off all POE ports and idle your remote site until solar or wind charging resumes and sufficient reserves are generated.

To keep the tower up, you can run your batteries all the way down to 9V or have it shut down in stages to save energy.

A sturdy chassis and a wide operating temperature range are combined with a simple but powerful user interface
