Mellanox LinkX Network Cable MCP MFS1S00-H020E provides active optical transmission for 200Gb/s InfiniBand HDR systems. It uses VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) technology.

In data centers, the MFS1S00 AOC provides higher port density, greater configurability, and longer reach than passive copper cable.

Due to its hot pluggability, the MFS1S00-H020E is easy to install and replace.

On the electrical side, MFS1S00 has a QSFP56 port that is compliant with SFF-8665. Each end has four multimode fibers (MMF) optical transceivers, each with a data rate of up to 50Gb/s.

Both optical transmitters and receivers of the MFS1S00 can be retimed per lane using up to 50 GBp/s.
