The GPU has 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM and a 384-bit memory interface, which provides better performance and power efficiency than the previous Turing-based iteration. Computationally intensive programs can use the 10496 cores of the GPU to expedite work using CUDA and other APIs.
WINDFORCE 3X cooling solution
Gigabyte used the WINDFORCE 3X cooling solution for cooling. It is equipped with two 90mm fans and one 80mm fan. The fans have one-of-a-kind blades that split the airflow and guide it smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface.

The fans reduce turbulence while increasing air pressure by whirling alternately.The 3D Active Fan enables semi-passive cooling, with the fans turning off when the GPU is under load or at low power.

Seven composite copper heat pipes
There are also seven composite copper heat pipes and a large copper plate with direct contact to the GPU and VRAM, which transfer heat efficiently. The expanded heatsink design allows air to travel through, allowing for better heat dissipation. It also supports RGB Fusion 2.0, which provides 16.7 million color possibilities and a range of lighting effects. It can also be used to sync with other AORUS devices.
NVIDIA Ampere Architecture
Ampere is NVIDIA's second generation RTX architecture. It has up to twice the FP32 throughput, 2nd Version RT Core throughput, and 3rd Generation Tensor Core throughput as the previous generation. It also uses GDDR6X VRAM and has a Samsung 8N proprietary process.
Real-Time Ray Tracing
Real-time ray tracing of objects and environments with realistically correct shadows, reflections, refractions, and global illumination is possible with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX platform.
DLSS
NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is AI rendering that increases frame rates while maintaining image quality by utilizing the GeForce RTX platform's dedicated AI processing Tensor Cores. This provides the performance required to maximize ray tracing settings and resolutions for a more immersive visual experience.
HDMI 2.1
