Designed specifically for select 2013-up Ram vehicles, this Crux RVCCH-75DC Rear-View & VIM Integration with Handle & Camera For Dodge RAM 2013-UP allows you to integrate backup video into your factory radio

The CH-75D rear-view camera is part of the kit along with a power/signal cable that you will run from the camera to the front of your car and an interface and harness that link to the factory radio. Once mounted, the device will provide you a wide-angle view of the area behind you that is well-lit, with a field of view of 170 degrees, and it will record video at 0.2 Lux for use at night. In order to make it easier for you to judge distance, Crux also gives you the option to enable on-screen parking help lines.

The Crux RVCCH-75DC Rear-View & VIM Integration with Handle & Camera For Dodge RAM 2013-UP is compatible with the Uconnect radio with 8.4” screen, the Uconnect radio with 5” screen and 6-button/2 knob interface, and the Uconnect radio with 4.3” screen and 6-button/2 knob interface. This system is NOT compatible with diesel models or those with factory-installed cargo cameras.

Installing this camera yourself? Here's what you should know. What does it do? Unless otherwise noted, a backup camera is only intended for use backing up your vehicle. If you require a front-view or constant rear-view camera, check for that capability.

What equipment and materials will I require? To remove the radio from the dash, additional tools such as a panel tool, a wire cutter/stripper, a soldering iron, and rosin-core solder with heat shrink tubing are advised.

What quantity of wiring is needed? The wiring instructions differ depending on the camera. Certain cameras have power connections that must be linked in close proximity to the radio. Some allow you to activate the camera when using suitable reverse lights. All cameras must be wired for electricity and ground, the video output of the camera must be connected to the radio or monitor, and the radio or monitor must be connected to a reverse trigger in your car. If you use the reverse trigger wire that some radio replacement interfaces provide for the radio to power your camera, the interface will be harmed.

Does the included video cable have adequate length? From the camera's mounting point outside your car, you'll need to run the video line inside, all the way to the dash-mounted screen. This frequently involves filing some metal or plastic or drilling a small hole in your car. Additionally, since the wire run from the camera to the dash won't be straight, you'll need to estimate how long it will be. The cable length for each camera is listed.
